What this covers
ChronoArx is, today, two things: a free web application for keeping a record of a watch collection, and a reservation list for Series One, a winder that has not shipped. These terms apply to both.
Reserving a place is not an order
The reservation form asks only for an email address and your consent to be emailed. No payment is taken, no price is stated, and no delivery date is given — the form and the copy beside it are built that way deliberately. Reserving a place registers interest and nothing else; it creates no contract to buy, and nothing is owed by either side because of it.
Creating an account
Using the collection app requires an account, created by signing in with an email magic link or a supported identity provider. Creating one records your acceptance of the version of these terms in force at that moment; the version is shown beside the checkbox at sign-in and stored against your account, so what you agreed to can be shown again later rather than only what the document currently says.
What you put in your collection
The app stores what you enter about your own watches: what you own, what you paid, and where each piece is. How that data is handled is described in the Privacy notice, not repeated here.
Changes to these terms
CURRENT_TERMS_VERSION in the code is the version in force; it is date-stamped rather than numbered, because the question it exists to answer is which text was live on the day someone agreed to it.
